My Story

My name is Charlene Ouellette, and I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember. I sold my first painting at 14 and later studied in the three year accredited Fine Arts diploma program at the Toronto School of Art, where my passion for abstract expression and creative storytelling truly came to life. Around 2006, I received my first professional camera—a Nikon D5000—which opened a new creative chapter and deepened my love for photography and visual storytelling.

Alongside my art, I built a successful 30-year career in the logistics industry, specializing in sales, marketing, and branding, while becoming an expert in freight operations, dispatch, and global shipping. I also thrived in the entertainment industry between 2001 to 2010 as a print and runway model, appearing on billboards, in magazines, and on newspaper covers multiple times. My journey also extended to the screen, where I was in hit movies such as REPO Men and The Love Guru, as well as featured in the TV series On The Run, among other exciting projects.

In November 2024, I began developing ARTistical Brands, a creative outlet that brings together my artistic vision and professional experience. Based in Pickering, Ontario, ARTistical focuses on commercial custom abstract artwork for public establishments, a wide range of photography services, and marketing/branding visuals that connect emotion with innovation—helping individuals and businesses express their stories in meaningful ways.
